Orientation – Middle school students from Remiremont and Rupt-sur- discover careers

On Wednesday December 11, 2024, the 3rd year middle school students from Remiremont (Collège Charlet) and Rupt-sur- (Collège Jean Montémont) looked at their orientation for half a day.

At the initiative of Madame Claude, French teacher, and Madame Bierren, technology teacher, around thirty professionals came together to present their professions and their career paths.

Before the forum, the middle school students were consulted by the teachers on the careers that interested them. Drone pilot, sound engineer, veterinarian or banker; college students covered a wide range of different professions.

In addition, an exhibition presented the professions exercised within the Vosges Departmental Council.

The discovery of careers in college contributes to the progressive construction of the students' orientation project.

The Department strives to support middle school students in the exploration of professions and the local economic fabric by committing to offering internship offers for 3rd grade students, and thus allowing them to carry out observation sequences in an environment professional within the community.
