A major fire occurred in an apartment located in Eysines, near Bordeaux (Gironde), Tuesday December 10, 2024. As reported France Blue Gironde the fire broke out in the morning, around 10:30 a.m. Two people were inside the home at the time.
Seven people relocated
Alerted, firefighters quickly went to the scene to control the flames and come to the aid of the two victims. A 53-year-old woman was seriously injured in the hand, our colleagues indicate. She was rushed to hospital urgently. More lightly affected, a 65-year-old man was also hospitalized.
Despite the rapid intervention of around twenty firefighters, the flames spread to the neighboring apartment. The occupants of this accommodation had to be evacuated but they were not injured, note France 3 New Aquitaine . In total, seven people were relocated.
