Work are underway in the town of Lestre (Manche), on the side of the churchknowing that the commune is cut in two by the road leading to Quettehou, the D14.

“The project concerns the refurbishment of drinking water networksunderlined Sylvie Amiot, the mayor. With the old pipesthe water only passed 5%. And some water meters local residents will be replaced.

THE repairs are planned on the D421 ; the D417; the hamlet of Pont Bleu and the Quenault hamlet .

The project is led by the Cotentin Urban Community. The cost is €230,000 excluding tax, financed entirely by the Cotentin conurbation. The town thanks her warmly.

“Everything is going well,” said Cyril Maison, works managerfor the Water Cycle in the Agglomeration. The work is carried out by the TPC company of the Vinci group.

Normally, the end of the work is planned around February 10, 2025, except technical or climatic hazards . A DETOUR et signsare charged to the responsible works.

Holiday stop

Arriving at a period of festivitiesthe construction site will be stoppedfrom Friday December 20 in the evening to Monday January 6, 2025.
