Kédougou Dec 10 (APS) – The deputy governor of the Kédougou region in charge of development, El Hadji Mouhamadoul Moustapha Gaye, officially launched this Tuesday the week of early childhood and the hut for all -small ones.
“It is an immense joy and a deep honor for me today to mark the official launch of the national early childhood week and the toddler hut in the Kédougou region. And this event occupies an important place in the national agenda of our country Senegal,” declared Mr. Gaye.
He spoke at the Fadiga toddlers’ hut school, in the presence of the regional coordinator of early childhood and the toddlers’ hut, Toura Sissoko and local authorities.
El hadji Mouhamadoul Moustapha Gaye praised the remarkable work accomplished by early childhood professionals.
”Your commitment is precious and deserves all forms of recognition because you are the builders of the future of Senegal, our beautiful country, and we thank you for your dedication,” he greeted, also magnifying this year’s theme which is part of the dynamic of the ”Setal sunu reew” initiative
”This theme invites us to reflect on the actions to be taken to strengthen citizenship and better training in respect for civic rules,” he underlined.
He called all teachers from different schools in the Kédougou region to action in order to develop teaching-learning skills for the benefit of children.
