British actress Keira Knightley caused a surprise on the set of Graham Norton's talk show last weekend. In fact, she sang the chorus of the megasuccess Believe in a rather unusual way: by knocking on his teeth.
A performance that left both the host and his guests speechless, namely Cher, Michael Fassbender and Josh Brolin.
“She hits all the notes!” exclaimed a visibly stunned Cher.
Asked by the singer how she developed this talent, Keira Knightley announced that she herself had no idea.
“I learned how to do it when I was a kid; a boy at school had this talent and he was so cool that we all wanted to do the same thing,” retorted the actress.
The 78-year-old singer was on set to promote her very first autobiography, Cher: The Memoir, Part One, published last month. In this book, she chronicles her personal and professional journey, taking readers from her childhood to her triumph, including behind the scenes of her marriage to Sonny Bono and their television show.
“I wrote this book with women and girls in mind. In fact, this is a book for everyone, but especially for those who need to know that no matter what they want to accomplish, they must try to do it. You should never give up. That was my main motivation,” she confided.
