A case of rape of a vulnerable person
The first case of this session will last two days and will concern repeat rape committed against a vulnerable person. The accused is a young Brestois aged 26, in detention since July 2022. He is represented by Me Anne-Sophie Plantec, of the Brest bar. The civil party, for its part, is represented by Me Maxime Colliou, also from the Brest bar.
A murder in Morlaix
From Monday December 9 to Wednesday December 11, a 35-year-old man will be tried for the murder of his partner. The events took place on August 17, 2021. The victim, aged 18, was found dead in the apartment she shared with her partner in the Boissière district, in Morlaix. After his custody, the accused was placed in pre-trial detention. During the trial, the Finisterian will be defended by Me Rabah Laraba, of the Brest bar. On the side of the five civil parties, several lawyers were contacted: Me Olivier Boulouard, Me Anne Chanteux-Caron and Me Anne-Sophie Plantec.
A doctor from Scaër accused of rape
For three days, from Wednesday December 18 to Friday December 20, a doctor from Scaër will be tried by the Finistère Assize Court for acts of rape committed against his ex-wife. Facts for which he was placed under judicial supervision. At the trial, the latter will be assisted by Me Anne-Catherine Le Her, of the Brest bar. The doctor's ex-wife will be represented by Me Marc Berthelot, of the Brest bar. The accused has already been convicted, in April 2023, by the Quimper judicial court for acts of habitual violence against another partner. He received a six-month suspended prison sentence, confirmed by the Rennes Court of Appeal, in October 2024.
