The civil service will be on strike this Thursday, December 5. Villeneuve nursery and elementary schools will be impacted, a minimum reception service will nevertheless be put in place.
Strike day this Thursday, December 5. Public sector agents are mobilizing at the call of the unions. Schools in Villeneuve-sur-Lot will be impacted by the movement, but a minimum reception service will nevertheless be put in place by the City to accommodate schoolchildren:
– From 8:45 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. and from 1:50 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at Jules-Ferry nursery and elementary, Guy-de-Scorailles, Jean-Jaurès and Luflade (in these schools, school meals will not be provided) ;
– From 8:50 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:35 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at Jean-Macé, Paul-Bert, Ferdinand-Buisson and Georges-Lecomte (in these schools, school meals will not be provided);
– From 8:50 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Sabine Sicaud and Marguerite Brouillet (in these schools, school meals will not be provided);
– From 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:35 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at Clément-Marot elementary and nursery school (school meals will not be provided)
– From 8:50 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. in Saint-Exupéry and from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. in René-Descartes, where school meals will be provided.

Note that at the Pasteur school, no strikers were reported to the Villeneuvois town hall services. Thus, all teachers will be present, catering and school reception will be provided.
Also note that the students will be grouped at the Jules-Ferry nursery school for the students of the Jules-Ferry elementary school; at the Sabine-Sicaud school for students from the Marguerite-Brouillet school; at the Georges-Lecomte school for students from the Paul-Bert and Ferdinand-Buisson schools.
