Hunted for big game in the Meuse
In this very nice video, published on YouTube by the SJ chasse channel (around 5,000 subscribers), we will follow a young hunter from the Meuse, during several big game hunt scenes having been filmed at the start of the 2024-2025 season . Our hunter is equipped with a Ruger American bolt-action rifle (a left-handed model) chambering 30-06 Springfield ammunition and equipped with a Docter Sight III panoramic red dot. Our hunter will be stationed in several wooded areas where he will have the chance to see plenty of game.
A small male weighing 40 kilos and a pet
Indeed, during the first scene our hunter will see an animal arrive, wounded by a grouin bullet, to the right of his post about fifteen meters away. A bullet behind the ear will definitively end the race of this little 40 kilo male. Then, our young nimrod will have the chance to see a company of wild boars crossing about twenty meters from his post in the middle of the forest. One of these animals will remain in place after 2 shots from the Ruger.
130 kilos and well armed: our young hunter’s first Keiler
Finally, during a third scene, our friend will have the pleasure of being able to pull a superb 130 kilo keiler who will rush to his post. No less than three bullets will be necessary to definitively stop the animal and end its suffering. A superb and particularly well-armed beast, the first big Keiler of our young, but already experienced, hunter.
