After having organized three editions of the Trail of the Drac has Salviacl’association Team Ultraventures launches into the organization of its first “ Zombies run » this Saturday December 7, 2024 still in Salviac, a night orienteering race in a forest infested with zombies.
An adventure to experience alone or in teams
The principle is simple. Participants must collect 17 markers scattered throughout the woods, “without having the little ribbons attached to their waists torn off” specifies Bastien Vaucan, the president of the association. The forest is inhabited by a horde the zombiesinhabitants of Salviac who disappeared in search of lives to be reborn.
Each candidate has three life ribbons. “The entire race takes place in the forest. To save yourself, you must collect as many beacons as possible without losing any life. The goal is to scare people, to put a little pressure on them. It's a game, it's family. You can do the course by walking, you don't have to run. Participants have a set time, and lose a beacon every two minutes when this time is exceeded. »
So that the immersion is as complete as possible, the organizers will install sound systems in the forest to broadcast horrible noises.
Bastien Vaucan has already participated in several “Zombies runs”. “It’s great. There's a bit of adrenaline, we laugh a lot, we scare each other. »
The Salviac “Zombies run” is open to everyone aged 11 and over. Young people aged 11 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult. It is possible to register as a team or solo.
