A race for everyone in Cahors

Such a race brings joy to everyone. But, without a suitable tool, the joëlettepeople with disabilities (motor, visual, mental, etc.), or the elderly, would not be able to participate.

In order to allow as many people as possible to participate in trails, marathons and Lot races, two Lot police officers, Philippe Nauleau, active in Castelnau-Montratier, and Jérôme Leporc, created the“Les Joelottes” association. The latter aims to provide joëlettes with attendants. The joëlette, which allows disabled people to run, also allows able-bodied and disabled people to meet. A joëlette requires three carriers, one behind and 2 in front.

Participation in the Lot marathons

The “Joelottes” intend to participate in the various marathons in the Lot, including Cahors, as well as in the world joëlette championship, the last edition of which brought together 56 joëlettes on May 11.

The association “les Joelottes”, which is based in Cahors with its godmother Tiphaine Gayot, is open to everyone. A hello association page “Les Joe'Lot'tes” has been created for this purpose.

Outdoor sport should be a shared pleasure, for everyone, and that is the goal of the Joelottes.
