From November 25 until December 10, 2024the Cotentin Agglomeration (Manche) is carrying out a study to evaluate the consumption habits of the inhabitants of the territory.
Its aim is to measure transformations in the commercial and hotel landscape. Fromanalyze developments in consumer behavior. D‘adapterif necessary, the strategy and actions to continue to effectively support these key sectors.
Different behaviors under study
The questions relate to the purchasing behaviors according to the types of products (places of purchase in and outside the survey area, brand, form of distribution) and by form of distribution.
But also the dating behaviors markets, distance selling purchasing behavior (e-commerce) i alternatives (direct producer purchases, second-hand goods, etc.).
They also question the attendance of the main commercial polarities of the territory.
The results of this study will make it possible to update the strategy to support the economic fabric of Cotentin, particularly for the commerce and thehotel industry.
