Le Clos du Nid highlighted some pathways, on the occasion of the European week for the employment of people with disabilities.
The Clos du Nid association, and more particularly its adapted work center, gave a new dimension to the European week for the employment of people with disabilities. With the BOSS evening (Breaking barriers, opening opportunities, supporting inclusion, raising awareness in business) organized Thursday, November 21, the association highlighted the challenges, solutions and successes of the professional inclusion of people in disability situation in the ordinary environment.
Specific devices
The Clos du Nid adapted work center presented two tools implemented for inclusion: the professional inclusion system and the supported employment system, thanks to which more than 70 people benefited in 2024 from opportunities such as internships, immersions, provision of services, or even employment contracts (CDD and CDI).
Lived experiences have powerfully illustrated the potential of professional inclusion.
Jordan Duvivier, welcomed into Alexandre Trocellier's welding workshop, found his place: “Jordan is doing well, there are plenty of positions where he is completely autonomous, I can let him work alone because he knows how to do lots of things!“, affirmed Mr. Trocellier.
Essentials
Bruno Colombel, director of Arécup, in Mende, was touched by the journey of Sylvain Rehor, whom he hired despite significant health challenges. Recognizing his seriousness and his positive contribution to the team, thanks to the supported employment system, he will join the permanent team from December 2023, for a technical assistant position, with the prospect of becoming a technical supervisor after training.
Laurent Larréché, production manager, underlines the strategic importance of the position occupied by Ludovic at Lozère Viandes. Alone to carry out his tasks, he plays an essential role with great efficiency. The company chose not to mechanize this position, preferring to rely on Ludovic's human adaptability, capable of adjusting his work to production needs in real time.
