A new director in this Côtes-d’Armor EHPAD

Whether it is a company or an association, the change of a direction or a presidency, it is always an event. HAS the EHPAD of Pleubian (Côtes-d'Armor), we clearly saw that the departure of Catherine Ozbolt, who was in charge of the establishment during the time, was an event.

It's now Annie Giannerini who is responsible for its management.

A journey in the social

She gives us some hints of her course… “I worked in integration projects for women and people with disabilities in Touraine, then in Brittany initially with people with adult disabilities.

With experience, Annie Giannerini wanted to focus on the elderly: “I worked in an independent residence called EHPA and then in an EHPAD with different services such as a unit for people suffering from pathologies such as dementia. 'Alzheimer's and unit for people with aging disabilities'.

The challenge is to maintain the budget deficit so that it does not increase significantly. The inflation of certain items but also the revenue compensation due by the State does not allow us to predict budgetary balances to date.

Outside the walls and third places

Despite the context, the establishment is trying to develop shared relationships with other establishments, this orientation had already been initiated by Catherine Ozbolt, in particular with the director of the EHPAD Les Korrigans located in Penvénan.

The two structures responded, jointly, to a call for projects which was accepted by the ARS of Brittany.

The director ensures the realization of this innovative axis:

This project is to support residents of both EHPADs by offering shared activities outside the walls of the EHPADs, this support will be offered during the year 2025.

The inauguration in September of a third location, with a cafeteria and outdoor spacesopen to an external public also constitute interesting assets to distinguish the life of the establishment.
