These two teenagers had apparently been recruited on Snapchat. Their mission, for €100 each: throw a package into the house in Brest (Finistère), from outside. But they were arrested as they were preparing to commit their crime, this Sunday 1is December 2024, around 4:20 p.m., by police officers from the Bac, Anti-Crime Brigade, on patrol in the area.
A 2e delivery prevented, five minutes later
The package was seized. It contained two bottles of alcohol, a few grams of cannabis resin and a cell phone charger. As for the two teenagers, aged 13 and 15, they were placed in police custody at the Brest police station.
A third man, an adult and unrelated to the first two, quickly joined them, since he too was arrested, five minutes apart, near the prison. He was also preparing to launch a package including, again, cell phones and cannabis.
A hectic weekend
This double seizure comes at the end of a hectic weekend at the Brest remand center. Saturday, November 30, four drug deliveries were intercepted by supervisors. One in a rather unusual way, since the package, sent by drone, had been left by mistake at a supervisor's window!
