YOUR DAILY DAY / Vancorex employees in Grenoble fighting for their jobs, with the support of the UD CGT 05 during the national day of mobilization for the protection of industry in France.

The UD CGT 05 calls for strong mobilization on December 12 to support Vancorex employees in Grenoble, who have been fighting for more than a month to keep their jobs. This day is part of the national day of mobilization for the maintenance of industry in France and against the social plans, which affect many companies across the country. Union members from Hautes-Alpes will be invited to join a delegation to actively participate in this demonstration of solidarity. Departure will be by carpool from Gap at 8 a.m. to go to Grenoble, where the day's program will begin with a gathering at 10:30 a.m. in front of the city prefecture. In the afternoon, support will be provided to the Vancorex strikers in Pont-de-Claix, as a sign of solidarity with this essential struggle for the future of the local industry. This mobilization aims to recall the urgency of defending industrial employment in France and to denounce the dramatic social consequences of business closures and layoff plans.
