Since the start of the year, the public body dedicated to environmental protection has been targeted by agricultural unions. Thanks to previously unpublished data, “Libération” identifies the locations of these operations and details their nature. Around forty complaints were filed.
Spills of straw, manure, waste, tires, stones, barbed wire, soiled baby diapers or even wild boar carcasses; banners taxing agents of “fascists”, “vermines”, «cow-boys», “pests” ; damaged or wrapped service vehicles; welding of a gate, egg throwing, walled entrances… According to our information, since the start of the year, around fifty actions by agricultural unions have targeted the departmental branches of the French Biodiversity Office (OFB) . For the first time, Liberation establishes the map of the numerous operations carried out throughout mainland France. Sometimes, they hit the same sites several times: four times for Noidans-lès-Vesoul (Haute-Saône), three for Poitiers (Vienne) and Montbrison (Loire), and two for Dijon (Côte-d'Or) , Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne), Blois (Loir-et-Cher) and Guéret (Creuse).
