The Casablanca customs subdivision seized, on Wednesday, on the basis of information provided to it, a large quantity of tabamel (maassel) for hookah, as well as products and equipment used in its preparation.
According to a customs source, “in coordination with the regional investigation and risk analysis service reporting to the Regional Customs Directorate of Casablanca-Settat, and under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, a significant quantity of tabamel, estimated at 1,200 kg, was seized, in addition to various products and equipment necessary for its manufacture.

The seizure was made during the search of a villa located in the Sidi Rahal Plage area, in the province of Berrechid, in the presence of the Royal Gendarmerie of Sidi Rahal and local authorities, the same source indicates. .
And to specify that the concierge of the villa was handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie to further the investigation.
