An increase of 2.8%. The price of monthly Navigo will increase and will rise on January 1, 2025 to 88.80 euros instead of 86.40 euros currently, an increase of 2.40 euros, reports France Bleu Paris, information confirmed with Île-de -France Mobilités (IDFM) by Le Parisien.
The transport organizing authority in Île-de-France, chaired by Valérie Pécresse, must propose this new price list for a vote by administrators on December 11.
This increase is part of the financial agreement concluded in September 2023 between Île-de-France Mobilités and the government, which provides for moderate but regular price increases until 2031. The maximum contribution from users was fixed at inflation + 1% “thanks to the increase in the contribution of companies with the Mobility Payment, the increase in contributions from communities at inflation + 2%, of which the region pays 51 %”, or 800 million euros.
The finance bill presented in October by the government is counting on an inflation forecast of 1.8% in 2025, the proposed increase in prices thus amounts to 2.8%, as calculated by Le Parisien .
January 2025 will also be the occasion for the introduction of a single ticket valid on all lines and in all zones, at 2.50 euros each. This metro/RER ticket will be priced at 1.99 euros for holders of a Liberté + pass, who are also entitled to free connections with the bus and tram.
