In an exclusive interview granted to France Télévisions, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the president of Senegal, revealed that he had received Thursday, November 28 “a letter from President Macron in which he recognizes that it was a massacre”about the African riflemen in Thiaroye in 1944. “This step must open the door to perfect collaboration for the manifestation of the whole truth about this painful event”he continued.
