Fuel for electric cars. Since 2022, the City of Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône (Val-d'Oise) has initiated a discussion around the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (Irve) on its territory. In 2023, it shifted gears by joining the Volti project. Launched by the Departmental Energy Union of Val-d'Oise (Sdevo), this system aims to create a network of charging stations on a scale of 95.
Fast charging
Several charging points were set up this summer in different districts of Saint-Ouen l'Aumône. Others will be at the end of 2024 and in 2025. The municipality of the agglomeration aims to “remove the main obstacle for potential users who do not have private parking spaces in order to recharge their vehicle, offer accelerated charging during the day on the places of activity, offer fast charging while roaming for transit flows, tourists and visitors to the region”.
The terminals already in service (22kw) with two charging points are positioned on Quai de l'Écluse, Quai du Halage, Parc des sports car park (4 charging points), rue Victor Leveau, Place Montesquieu, rue de Flandre and rue du May 8, 1945. Two other terminals will be put into service at the end of 2024: Mail Roland-Daffix and the Avenue de Chennevières car park. Finally, two terminals are expected at the beginning of 2025: Place Godet and the cemetery car park, avenue de Verdun.
These terminals are accessible 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Payment is made with a Volti subscriber badge, via an application or by bank card directly at the terminal.
Prices: from 0.35 euros kWh for Volti subscribers, 0.40 euros kWh for non-subscribers. Parking (additional charge associated with charging): between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., free. From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.: the first three hours free. From 3 hours: 0.25 euros per minute.
