Bringing together delegations from Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar, Comoros, and for the first time, Mozambique, this plenary meeting closes three days of work which began on Wednesday November 20, 2024.
The Interreg program, of which the Réunion Region has been the managing authority since 2000, is co-financed by the European Union. It is the main tool for regional cooperation in the Indian Ocean. Thanks to it, Reunion Island can forge links with its partners in the area in a logic of co-development, to respond to the global challenges of the environment and climate, health, research development, economy, training and professional integration of young people, as well as the promotion of our cultural heritage.
