On June 25, officers seized 21 kilos of cannabis, 700 grams of cocaine, 32 kilos of cannabis resin and 1.4 kilos of MDMA. MDMA, an amphetamine derivative, comes in different forms: ecstasy tablets, crystals and powder.

The agents also found more than 6,000 euros in cash and luxury cars, including a superb new Porsche Cayenne. Several weapons were also in the lot found. This is not a media stunt to reassure the population. Indeed, it took two years of work to achieve this result.
It all started on December 27, 2023, when the Saint-Étienne prosecutor’s office opened a judicial investigation. All the police forces summoned worked tirelessly to achieve these arrests. Many months of work were necessary to obtain this positive result. The investigation began with a judicial investigation for drug trafficking, targeting a network operating home deliveries. “All the police officers on this investigation gave 100% to find the protagonists.” Result: eight people were arrested and brought before the investigating judge. The eight individuals are not choirboys. Seven of them were placed in pretrial detention, three having already been convicted of drug trafficking.
