Things are moving in this summer transfer window. Despite Euro 2024 and the Copa America in progress, European clubs are working behind the scenes to strengthen their squads.

On the French side, there is movement on the Côte d’Azur, particularly within OGC Nice. With the arrival of Franck Haise on the club’s bench, things are stirring in the squad. The Aiglons are close to completing the arrival of Tanguy Ndombélé but should also lose some key players from their squad.

French midfielder Khephren Thuram is on the verge of joining Juventus. Jena-Clair Todibo also has an exit voucher but for the moment nothing has been done. According to information from the newspaper l’Équipe, the Nice management has refused an offer of 35 million from West Ham for the French defender.

An amount below the expectations of the Côte d’Azur club, which therefore rejected this offer. Nice is preparing in parallel for his departure and is active on several avenues.

Todibo set to leave OGC Nice this summer

Despite OGC Nice’s refusal of West Ham’s offer for Todibo, the French defender is set to leave the Nice club this summer. The club’s management announced at a press conference during Franck Haise’s official presentation that the player had a release voucher.

“Jean-Clair Todibo and Képhren Thuram? On this subject, I can mention it. There are open doors. That being said, a transfer window is always very complicated. Today, the door is open for these players. Will they be there at the start of the season? We will know at the end. I am not going to go into figures, but we have an envelope that allows us to work calmly. When I talk about budgetary restrictions, it is about finding a virtuous circle. It is the work of each club. Our ambition is to remain European and to do well in L1,” said Jean-Pierre Rivère, the club’s President.
