They had until Tuesday, July 2, 2024, 6 p.m., to submit their official candidacy to the prefecture. After the first round of the legislative elections where the breakthrough of the National Rally (RN) was confirmed in the Alpes-Maritimes, six constituencies will return to the polls for a second round this Sunday, July 7.
Here are all the candidates in each sector of Nice and the department.
Three MPs already re-elected, six others still to be designated
Three of the nine constituencies will not have to return to vote this Sunday, July 7. Indeed, Alexandra Masson (RN) in the 4th constituency, Christelle d’Intorni (LR/RN) in the 5th, and Bryan Masson (RN) in the 6th, have been re-elected in the first round gathering more than 50% of the votes cast.
In the other sectors of the Alpes-Maritimes, all won by the party chaired by Jordan Bardella, here are the candidates who will be in the second round:
1st constituency (Nice):
- Eric Ciotti (LR/RN) : 41,04% au premier tour
- Olivier Salerno (LFI/NFP): 26.62%
- Graig Monetti (Ensemble/Horizons): 22.79%
2nd constituency (Carros, Vence, Grasse, Puget-Théniers):
- Lionel Tivoli (RN) : 48,08% au premier tour
- Leïla Tonnerre (LFI/NFP): 19.01%
3rd constituency (Nice-North, La Trinité):
- Bernard Chaix (LR/RN): 41.47% in the first round
- Laure Quignard (PS/NFP): 27.24%
Philippe Pradal (Ensemble/Horizons) had obtained 25.36% of the votes and had also qualified but announced in a press release that he was withdrawing.
7th constituency (Antibes, Sophia-Antipolis):
- Thierry Ferrand (RN) : 36,32% au premier tour
- Eric Pauget (LR) : 24,88%
8th constituency (Cannes, Mandelieu):
- Dorette Landerer (RN): 42.74% in the first round
- Alexandra Martin (LR) : 28,39%
9th constituency (Mougins, Le Cannet):
- Franck Galbert (RN) : 42,31% au premier tour
- Michèle Tabarot (LR): 33.84%
