Qualified for the second round of the legislative elections with 24.45% of the votes in the second constituency, the elected representative from Limoges – who came in third place behind the National Rally and the outgoing deputy, the socialist Stéphane Delautrette – announced her decision this Tuesday morning during a press conference.
There will only be two candidates left in the 2nd constituency of Haute-Vienne. Indeed, the candidate of the Republican alternative has just announced her withdrawal during a press conference in Limoges.
“I do not want to take the reckless risk of making the RN win,” declared Marie-Ève Tayot. The National Rally is the antithesis of values based on humanism and tolerance.
The socialist Stéphane Delautrette will therefore find himself alone facing the RN candidate Sabrina Minguet.
Marie-Ève Tayot did not give any voting instructions, but did hide the fact that it was a PS candidate which made her decision easier.
