Noah Marchand and Zakaria Mechergui have been called up to Les Bleus. They will prepare for the World Cup in their category.

The selections continue. At the Roanne Chorale, the summons have been flooding into the mailboxes. A few days ago, Nathan Issa Botikali and Evan Fouillen were selected with the French U15 team to participate in the Friendship Tournament, which begins this Wednesday, July 3 in Italy.

More recently, the club learned of Noah Marchand’s call-up to the U18 team in 3X3. With the Blues, he will prepare for the World Cup which will take place from August 26 to 30 in Debrecen (Hungary). One age category below, Zakaria Mechergui also received a letter from the Federation. He will join the national selection to prepare for the same competition.

One Pink Lady selected, another in training

At Roannais Basket Féminin, three girls had been called up with the Bleues. Sena Sert (U17) took part in a preparation camp, but was left out of the group. She will therefore not take part in the World Cup organized in Mexico. Aurélie Jean-Louis (U16), on the other hand, will leave for a camp in the coming days in order to prepare for the Euro. Finally, Rebecca Tsobgny was selected with the French 3X3 U21 team. As a reminder, the playmaker played in the National 1 team and will wear the Montbrison jersey (Ligue 2) next year.
