The Friday evening meal-concerts are among the unmissable events of the summer in Saint-Denis. Initiated by the Union of Saint-Denis Artisans and Traders – UDAC – these festive and friendly events make the Place du Général-de-Gaulle dance throughout the summer period. The UDAC will host 4 of the 10 evenings of this 2024 season. Respectively on Fridays July 5 and 12, August 23 and 30. Four evenings for as many different atmospheres.
The first of the UDAC’s dinner-concerts will be celebrating the 80s, this Friday, July 5, with a menu of half a chicken accompanied by hash browns, tomato sauce and onions. Then, join us the following Friday, July 12, for an evening with a tropical atmosphere. For the meal, a royal 4-meat couscous will be offered to the guests.
A little over a month later, on Friday, August 23, the summer’s biggest hits will resonate on the Place du Général-de-Gaulle, with a spit-roasted ham on the plates, also accompanied by fried potatoes, tomato sauce and onions. And to end the summer in style, the UDAC is organizing a giant plancha party on Friday, August 30, with salads and fries.
If the theme and the menu are different each time, this is not the case for the price of the meal which is always 15€ per person. Knowing that the aperitif is offered and that the dessert is included. Also note that it will be possible to pay by credit card, and that a refreshment bar will be held by the UDAC volunteers during each evening.
As for the musical part, it will be provided by DJ Enzo during the 4 meal-concerts. In short, all the ingredients will be gathered again to spend 4 good moments with family or friends. All that remains is to cross your fingers for the weather!
