On the occasion of the International Day Against Violence Against Women, the department of Tarn-et-Garonne has put in place several measures to support victims and prevent this violence.
• Local Devices:
Flyer d’Information : A flyer summarizing local aid measures is available on the website www.tarn-et-garonne.gouv.fr.
Coordinatrices VIF : Created in 2015, this system organizes the reception and care of victims by coordinators placed with the police. In 2023, they provided more than 550 cases of treatment, in addition to 228 adult victims and 50 children followed for emergency psychological support.
Funding : The system is financed up to a third by the State, with contributions from the CAF, CPAM, Departmental Council, Communities of Communes and Greater Montauban Urban Community, for a total amount of nearly €240,000 .
• National Devices:
Listening Number : 3919 is a free national listening and guidance number.
Reporting Platform : The arretonslesviolences.gouv.fr platform is accessible 24/7.
EMERGENCIES : In case of emergency, dial 17 or send an SMS to 114. These initiatives aim to better combat gender-based, sexual, domestic and intra-family violence, by offering comprehensive and coordinated support to victims.
