REPORT ????️On November 21, 2024, more than 1000 students from different middle and high schools in the department participated in the Orientation Night in Foix, organized by the CCI of Ariège with the support of national education to promote work-study programs and local jobs with young people, their families, their teachers but also people undergoing professional retraining.
In a friendly atmosphere, this evening brought together passionate professionals, advisors from the Ariège CCI, and companies ready to share their experiences and answer all questions. We noted the presence of flagship companies in the department such as in the aeronautical subcontracting industry such as Aubert & Duval, Recaéro and Mecaprec.
Conferences and workshops took place all afternoon at the Espace Olivier Carol of the Foix Cultural Center and at the Paajip de Foix, partner of the operation.
From industrial professions to new technologies, including the national police, security and fire, communication, and tourism, this evening which actually started at 1:30 p.m. given the young audience, was a real showcase local and national opportunities for the thousand young people present.
personalities from the region and national education such as DASEN Laurent Fichet were present alongside Josiane Gouze-Fauré, president of the CCI of Ariège, to visit the partners' stands and the fifty companies present.
This “Orientation Night” received this year the support of the urban community of Foix Varilhes and two Ariège companies ENEDIS and Aubert & Duval.
