Thierry Gillier brings together the best of his two brands in a single prestigious address in . Namely Zadig & Voltaire, which he founded in 1997 and whose creative teams he has taken over since January, and the Parisian luxury cashmere label Pellat-Finet which he bought in 2019. After being relaunched through its e-shop, it opened a store in April 2023 at number 326 rue Saint Honoré, in the 1st arrondissement of the capital. Transformed into a “new concept store”, it now also houses a selection of pieces from Zadig & Voltaire.

This space brings together “a carefully chosen selection of the most emblematic pieces of each brand in a common and homogeneous universe”, indicates Zadig & Voltaire in a press release, which notes how, “brought together by common values and inspirations, the two brands combine heritage and creativity in this adventure, a collaboration that resonates naturally.”

“Each brand brings its own identity to the space: Pellat-Finet's small series production is aimed at connoisseurs who appreciate the balance between artisanal refinement and comfort of sportswear, while Zadig & Voltaire values an approach based on “authenticity”, explains the company, which seems to want to test a new model, capitalizing on customers and the attraction of each of the two brands. This integration between the two houses will also be tested within the Parisian Zadig & Voltaire boutiques on rue Cambon and the Champs-Elysées.

Offered in this 150 square meter space with a minimalist design, on one side are the very high-end cashmere basics from Pellat-Finet made in London, whose prices are around 1,500 and 1,600 euros while its hooded sweaters are marketed at 590 euros, and on the other hand, knitwear sold from 450-500 euros from Zadig & Voltaire, as well as a wide choice of leather pieces, with small leather goods starting at 200 euros, bags which constitute almost half of the brand's sales (from 300 euros) and shoes. There are also some sets and costumes.

The idea is to bring together the ready-to-wear brand with a rock and trendy DNA, distributed through 400 points of sale around the world including 14 in Paris, and the label founded by Lucien Pellat-Finet in 1994 with a slightly provocative style, very recognizable with its emblematic motifs such as the cannabis leaf and the skull. Its design has been developed by an internal team since the departure of French designer Dryce Lahssan, who was appointed in 2023.
