Netto has a new address in Vénissieux
As part of the takeover by the Les Mousquetaires Group of several Casino points of sale, a new unit under the Netto brand has just been inaugurated in VenissieuxThis locality already has another Netto store, located on Boulevard Irène-Joliot-Curie.
After having carried out transformation works and renewed its stock, the store reopened its doors on May 23. It now offers residents of the area a wide range of products, including approximately 4,000 references, 85% of which are Netto brand products, manufactured in part in the Mousquetaires factories.
Transformation of the former Orange Casino into a Netto store
And new Netto store opened its doors as part of the acquisition by the Les Mousquetaires Group: the one located at OrangeAcquired on June 1, it reopened its doors on June 18.
Directed by Emeline Tawila member of the Les Mousquetaires group, this unit offers its customers a selection of 1,000 products at competitive prices, as well as a fresh produce section and clearance offers.
Reopening after transformation of the Roanne store
The Casino of the Clermont suburb in Roanne closed its doors on May 30th for work that lasted nearly 3 weeks. On June 18th, The establishment has reopened under the Netto brandnow managed by an alliance between the managers of Intermarché in Lentigny and Riorges.
During this brief period of closure, led by Cyril Boissierdirector of the Intermarché in Riorges, the team worked to create a welcoming environment for customers. In addition to traditional products at reduced prices, the new Netto will highlight a selection of local products from more than 30 local producers, such as meats, eggs and vegetables.
A textile offer will also be available and part of the store will be dedicated to large volumes. In addition, a variety of Portuguese and halal products will be proposed to meet the specific needs of the local community.
Opening planned for June 2025 in Charleville-Mézières
The Ronde Couture district in Charleville-Mézières will see the opening of a new Netto store during the summer of 2025, replacing the old Lidl. This project is led by Jerome Boiteuxwhich had won a call for expressions of interest launched by the City for the construction and operation of a new building.
With a retail area of just under 1,000 m², in addition to storage and office spaces, this Netto store will constitute an essential asset for the neighborhood. Indeed, the presence of a local supermarket is crucial for residents who do not have personal means of transport.
This trade will enrich the local economic fabricalongside pharmacies, cafes, bakeries, a Turkish mini-market and a fruit and vegetable merchant already present. Calls for tender are underway and planning permission has been filed, with the aim of starting work as early as July once approvals have been obtained.
