A final challenge in Orléans for Marvin Baudry
After Yasser Baldé and Elhadji Pape Diaw, Laval loses a third central defender. At the club since 2021, with the key to a rise to Ligue 2, Marvin Baudry will not have a fourth consecutive season with the Mayençais club. At the end of his contract, the central defender signed a two-year lease in Orléans, where he is expected to take over from Nicolas Saint-Ruf, transferred to Nancy at the start of the summer transfer window.
After launching his professional career in Amiens in 2011, Marvin Baudry had a nice exile in Belgium within the club of Zulte Waregemeven winning a national cup and playing in the Europa League in 2017/2018. Back in Laval, the Congolese has established himself as a solid central defender in Ligue 2, playing 57 matches in two seasons for three goals and two assists to his name.
