You hosted a delegation from Gaeta for a few days in May, can you tell us more?
Along with the elected officials, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from our twin city in Italy, with Carlo Avallone, a tiellista from Gaeta.
This visit, organized with the Twinning Committee as part of our exchanges and cooperation with Gaeta, precedes the arrival, on July 28, of the famous tielliste on the occasion of the sea and Saint-Paul festival in order to offer 300 tielles for tasting for all the Frontignanais and Lapeyradois. Volunteer citizens from the Espace de Vie Sociale Calmette will accompany him in this task and have been trained for the D-day.
On this occasion, the city will welcome the mayor of Gaeta, Cristian Leccese, and his delegation.
Thanking the entire team of the Twinning Committee for working alongside our municipality so that our two towns continue to bring our twinning to life, I look forward to seeing you on July 28 for the 34th edition of the Fête de la mer which promises to be decidedly Italian!
Summer is fast approaching, what are the municipal services, the municipality and its partners preparing for this 2024 season?
This year again and for the third consecutive year, we are distributing to all residents the summer guide provided with this June magazine in order to allow each Frontignanais and Lapeyradois to prepare for the summer season in the best conditions.
Between shows and concerts, exhibitions, festivities, jousts and traditions, sport and relaxation, water sports, fireworks and so many other events, Frontignan la Peyrade is more than ever a unique destination in the world!
More than 220 events await residents, visitors and tourists for a summer that we all hope will be under the best auspices, thanks to the involvement of municipal services, associations, traders and partners, all fully mobilized and whom I would particularly like to thank for their dedication to serving residents and the influence of our city.
There is work going on all over the city, what can you tell us about it?
As many residents can see, a lot of work is being carried out in our city.
