This Orientation Night has existed for around ten years in the CCI network, but it is a first in the department. First challenge: being attractive. So, the organizers put themselves in the place of young people. And it is at the Monky that will take place this night, Thursday November 28, from 5 to 10 p.m. Companies immediately responded. “There are sectors in tension in the department, with real needs. And above all, there are the sectors and training that go with them to respond to them,” adds Frédéric Péchavy.
Jobs in virtual reality
From the environment to the agri-food industry, around forty professionals and training organizations will be present: the Digital Campus, start-ups, Cruanas, road transport, the solidarity economy cluster, Lechef… “Young people will be able to discuss with professionals. » And immerse yourself, thanks to virtual reality, in different professions.
The Lot-et-Garonne association with the Grandes Écoles is also there. “In all sectors, we lack executives. » Young people go to study elsewhere. And they do not come back, “while the needs of the territory are there”.
Parents are put in the loop of this event. Indeed, the subject is, at best, the subject of numerous family discussions, and at worst, a source of anxiety. The CCI called on Super futur, guidance specialists who will give a conference on the theme: “Finding your place as parents in the guidance of your child”.
