On the way to work this Monday 1is July 2024, employees at the Renault factory in Le Mans learned of the death of one of their colleagues. “Some are very affected and we send, of course, our condolences to the family.”says a group executive.
Collision with a camper van
The employee died following a road accident that occurred the day before, late Sunday afternoon in Saint-Christophe-sur-le-Nais in Indre-et-Loire, very close to the border with the Sarthe department.
The car he was driving collided with a camper van on the RD 938. In the camper van, a 16-year-old was seriously injured, according to our colleagues at France Blue Touraine . Two other, more minor, injuries were also reported.
