Unleashed supporters, Tour de France and a last-minute doc… Hello Lorient!

Good morning everyone! In a sporty mood? The Lorient team shouted loudly the victory of France last night, the supporters jumped and hugged each other following a surge they no longer expected: the Blues won 1-0 over Belgium, qualifying for the quarter-finals of the European Football Championship. They will meet this Friday, July 5, the Portuguese who won on penalties against Slovenia, last night, after a long and grueling match! This Tuesday, the Tour de France begins its fourth stage, the riders will race on the mountain roads starting from Pinerolo (Italy) and finishing in Valloire (Savoie).

Grey but no rain

The city of six ports is still wrapped in gray skies today, but there is no risk of rain! The sky will clear in the evening. Temperatures vary between 14 °C and 21 °C, and the days are starting to get shorter: the sun rose at 6:20 a.m. and will set at 10:15 p.m. The tide is low at 8:27 a.m. and will be high at 3 p.m. We wish the Martiniens a happy holiday!

“Last minute” screening in Kervénanec

The association J’ai vu un doc is organizing a screening-discussion this Tuesday, July 2, at 6 p.m. at La Balise, 2 rue Eugène-Varlin in Kervénanec. A “last minute” screening as they announce on their Instagram account, a documentary that deals with the extreme right in power since 2014 in Béziers (Hérault) with Robert Ménard, the first registered Rassemblement National councilor.

On the RN165, it’s rolling

Are you just on time? Don’t panic: if traffic is heavy at the gates of Lorient, the expressway is rather clear this Tuesday morning. No slowdowns are reported for the moment between Quimper and Vannes.
