If the Ligue 1 teams are less alerted by the summer transfer window than by the TV rights saga, Ligue 2 teams, less dependent on this financial windfall, have almost all started major maneuvers. Tour d’horizon.

Bastia and Clermont in all the shots

Barely three weeks after the opening of the summer transfer window, twelve of the eighteen Ligue 2 players have already registered at least one arrival. Among them, Clermont, relegated this season, is one of the most active. With five recruits already made official, the Auvergne club is looking to anticipate and arm itself as it should, in particular with Damien Da Silva (Melbourne Victory, Australie), Henri Saivet (Pau) or even Allan Ackra (Sochaux), all freely. The other relegated teams, Lorient and Metz, have not yet acted on the transfer window.

Bastia is also showing its muscles at the start of summer with six arrivals including those ofAmine Boutrah (Speed, Netherlands), Cisse Laminate (Nancy), Gustave Akueson (Versailles) or Clement Rodrigues (Concarneau). The Corsican neighbor, Ajaccio, still in full uncertainty after its inconclusive passage before the DNCG, has only recruited Jesus Ayessa (Le Puy Foot). Troyes, which could benefit from a possible administrative relegation of the ACA, has attracted Adrien Monfray from Grenoble. The GF38 has just made one of the big moves of the summer by recruiting freely Alan Kerouedanrevelation of the last National season with Avranches (15 goals and 6 assists).

The promoted teams from the third tier remain, for the moment, rather discreet. Only Red Star has recorded the arrival of Samuel Renel (Niort). Other clubs stuck at one recruit: Pau, with Antoine Mille (Châteauroux), and Rodez with Loni Quenabio (Marignane). Annecy (Julien Kouadio et Axel Drouhin), Dunkirk (Maxence Rivera et Marco Essimi), Laval (Moses Adilehou et Kevin Zohi) and Guingamp (Brown Irabor et Amine Hemia) were slightly more active. Finally, Paris FC managed to attract three names: Mathys Tourraine (Grenoble), Sofiane Alacouch (Metz) and Lohan Doucet (Nantes). The capital club has exercised the purchase option for 300,000 euros for the latter.
