The Local Mission opens up to Europe with Erasmus +

The Erasmus + program is a real lever for employment, and this is one of the missions of the Mission Locale du Pays Villeneuvois. This is why this structure offers young people, between 18 and 25 years old, to register in this European program.

For the first time, the Mission Locale du Pays Villeneuvois has the opportunity to offer young people aged 18 to 25 the opportunity to go on an internship for 3 months in several European countries: Malta, Cyprus and Spain thanks to the “Destination Erasmus +” program. 5 young people are currently in Malta (3 in commerce, 1 in horse riding and 1 in wedding planning) and 3 others are leaving for Cyprus at the end of June to do an internship in the luxury hotel sector. Several departures to the 3 possible destinations are planned in the coming months.

Plenty of good reasons to embark on this European adventure

The Erasmus + program is a real lever for employment. Doing an internship in a company abroad allows you to gain experience, develop your skills but also discover a new culture, learn a foreign language and gain autonomy.

The Erasmus + program and the Mission Locale du Pays Villeneuvois are doing everything possible to offer a structured and supported adventure for participants.

Indeed, several stages of preparation are planned, such as language courses (English or Spanish) before and during the trip. The young interns will be accompanied on site by the organization, in conjunction with the Mission Locale du Pays Villeneuvois, responsible for finding companies. This program is open to all young people even those not yet registered with the Mission Locale: young graduates or not, on a gap year, looking for a job or a professional project, regardless of their educational level.

Group information meetings are planned within the walls of the Local Mission on Tuesdays July 2 and 16 at 2:30 p.m.

Local Mission of the Villeneuvois Country: 8, rue de Casseneuil in Villeneuve-sur-Lot; telephone: 05 53 40 06 02.
