The interdepartmental director of the national police, Marjorie Ghizoli, is leaving Montpellier to join, on December 9, her new assignment in Nouméa, New Caledonia. The prefect, François-Xavier Lauch, paid tribute to him yesterday evening in the presence of representatives of law enforcement and security forces, judicial authorities and elected officials, among others.
His deputy succeeds him
After the speech of the public prosecutor, Fabrice Bélargent, the representative of the State greeted “a woman of commitment, of exception” who, with “a taste for new things, for adventure”chose this new position in a “difficult territory”.
Marjorie Ghizoli spoke with emotion of the many people with whom she successfully collaborated for a little over a year. It is his deputy, divisional commissioner Benoît Desmartin, who will succeed him.
