1st constituency of Hérault. In the first constituency of Hérault of which his commune is part, the mayor of Lattes hopes that the outgoing MP will not maintain her candidacy.

Third after the first round of the legislative elections this Sunday, June 30, the outgoing MP and former Secretary of State for Veterans, Patricia Miralles, has not yet expressed herself, this Monday, on whether she will continue to run in the second round or whether she will withdraw, probably in favor of the New Popular Front candidate, Jean-Louis Roumégas.

Behind Roumégas to block the road to the RN

The latter, who came second behind the LR Ciottiste/RN candidate Josyan Oliva for forty votes, called yesterday on the voters of the Ensemble candidate to join him in blocking the far right. Same story with the center-left candidate, Stéphanie Lévy, who came in fifth position.

This Monday, July 1, it is the turn of the mayor of Lattes to publicly ask Patricia Miralles to “to withdraw” and to the voters of “refuse the victory of the RN in our constituency“. “Even if I understand the anger, I will never endorse the theses and false solutions of the National Rally.l”, specifies the elected official, before directly attacking the far-right candidate, also one of his opponents in Lattes. “Josyan Oliva is a political adventurer. He was the local representative of Horizon, a party member of the majority, when he agreed to carry the RN/Ciotti banner”.

For Cyril Meunier, it is behind the candidacy of Jean-Louis Roumégas – “a democratic environmentalist who does not belong to LFI and has the experience of having already held the position of deputy” – that the voters of the 1st district must line up on July 7.
