It’s for a disagreement between four men that the Lorient police officers were called this Saturday June 29, 2024 in the evening, rue de Saint-Pierre, in the center of Lorient (Morbihan). But when the police disperse the group, one of them refuses to leave, insults the three agents, refuses to get into their vehicle, and hits the door.

On the way, during which he insults the officers without stopping, he even tries to attack the driver, tries to headbutt him. At the police station, he is tested with 0.66 grams of alcohol per liter of blood.

“A lot of trouble”

Tried in immediate appearance this Monday 1is July 2024, the Lorient native, already convicted ten times, denies everything: It’s totally fictitious, nothing is true. His personality is discussed at length, including the fact that he is on the road to rehabilitation after being homeless. Since I got out of prison when I was 19, it’s been a lot of coping he explains.

The court sentenced him to 18 months in prison, twelve of which were suspended, and probation, and ordered the revocation of two months of suspended sentence related to a previous conviction. He will therefore have to serve eight months in prison, but under the semi-liberty system, as decided by the court, so that he can continue to go to work during the day.
