More than a hundred caravans illegally set up on a football stadium in Marignane this Sunday, June 30. They were close to polling stations, disrupting access to them.

At least a hundred caravans illegally invaded the pitch of the Bolmon stadium in Marignane (Bouches-du-Rhône) this Sunday, June 30, BFM Marseille Provence learned from a police source. According to our information, the travelers plan to stay there for several days.

The municipality mentions a difficulty in accessing polling stations

According to the Marignane town hall, this installation somewhat disrupted access to three polling stations located at the Bolmon sports park, this Sunday, from 8 p.m. to 6 p.m.

On Facebook, the municipality alerted voters of these disruptions, via social networks.

“People wishing to access the Bolmon polling stations must go there on foot or by two-wheeler. In fact, 200 caravans of travelers are illegally and breaking into the stadium grounds,” the city wrote in its publication.

In this commune, located in the 12th constituency, it was the outgoing deputy Franck Allisio (RN) who was re-elected in the first round with 60.18% of the votes.
