Launched in May 2023, the first phase of the consultation on the new parking plan ended with the vote in the municipal council, on April 2, of a new amendment to the parking concession. This development comes into force today, July 1, 2024.
Why change the parking plan?
Facilitate parking with better sharing of public space, protect residents’ parking, make local shops and public services more accessible, protect residential neighborhoods, adapt to new uses (soft mobility)… since the launch experimentation, Many of you have shared with us your needs and problems. Find all the modifications on decree 2024/45.
Here is the new effective parking plan:
ZONE ROUGE
convenient parking for users
Around the centers of attraction (RER E / Town Hall, City center, RER A, Port / Swimming pool and Stadium), in the immediate vicinity of a parking structure which will accommodate residents, in order to ensure more rotation on the surface and promote the availability of spaces.
Since December 8, 2023, 1 hour of free parking in the red zone!
LONG-LASTING YELLOW ZONE
Resident parking for Nogentais
To guarantee the availability of spaces for residents and avoid parking lots through a monthly subscription reserved for Nogentais.
ZONE ORANGE
parking enjoy the banks of the Marne and their leisure facilities…
For Place Maurice Chevalier and the adjoining part of Rue du Port, in order to facilitate hourly parking for users while guaranteeing sufficient rotation. No subscription possible.
BLUE ZONE
parking reserved for local residents to avoid suction vehicles
In peripheral areas to avoid crowding phenomena, with the possibility for residents of the area of permanent free parking (two parking badges per household). Outside of paid or blue parking hours, parking will be unregulated.
The blue, yellow and red zones will be effective from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday (free on Sundays, public holidays and in August).
1 hour free parking in the red zone
Following testing the parking plan and while waiting for other measures at the next municipal council, you can benefit, from December 8, one hour of free parking in the red zone*.
