As part of the cooperation across the Pays de Lorient-Quimperlé, Lorient Agglomération and BBO Communauté wanted to implement a first strong action in favor of the mobility of workers with the creation of a new Izilo Mobilités bus stop at the Porzo business park in Kervignac.

This is the only stop on the Lorient Agglomeration IziLo Mobilités network outside of one of the 25 municipalities in its territory. This new bus station is located on the route of line 34, which connects Languidic “Tréauray” to Hennebont “Gare SNCF” in one direction, with 15 trips from Monday to Friday (11 during school holidays, 10 on Saturdays). ) and in the other direction Hennebont “Gare SNCF” to Languidic “Tréauray” according to the same conditions.

Close to the Porzo business park, which is home to major employers such as Cité Marine and has nearly 1,500 employees, and the carpooling area located along the RN 165the new stop provides a transport service to the site’s many employees, who come mainly from Lorient and Lanester, but also to residents of Kervignac who wish to travel to Lorient Agglomeration.

The municipality of Kervignac, as project owner, carried out the road and security work at the stop, and supported their financial costs.

Furthermore, BBO Communauté finances the additional operating costs linked to the implementation of this additional shutdown. They were valued at €5,564 per year, a cost corresponding to the additional travel time on line 34 carried out by IzILo Mobilités.
