The resumption of training is set for Monday July 15 for the Trélissacois, but the work is already almost finished behind the scenes. Trélissac FC has formalized the arrival of three players. The new coach, Valentin Dumont, former assistant to Hervé Loubat, is still looking for a few recruits: a defender, two midfielders and an attacker. But he is willing to take his time to achieve his goals.

After a difficult season, where the request for demotion led to a demobilization of the workforce and a sporting relegation, Fabrice Faure, the president now joined by Patrick Guérite at the head of the club, “violently revised the operating budget”. That is to say that the TFC “will have an economy more in line with the economy of the territory. The budget will be around a million euros, compared to 1.7 million last year. »

Six friendly matches

The boss of Leclerc also assures that his commitment is intact and that late payment of salaries is a thing of the past. “I assume my responsibilities and the club will honor its commitments to start again on a project more suited to our dimension. »

On the sporting side, therefore, the club has managed to retain a few elements including Ange Gnaleko, Jimmy Burgho who will return to service as a player, Jordan Pothier, Valentin Michau or Noa Charriéras who will be the number 1 goalkeeper.

Valentin Dumont, who will be assisted by Frédéric Venou and Nicolas Dorbec for the goalkeepers, has completed six friendly matches including the first, on July 27, against Moulins/Yzeure. Matches will follow with Panazol, Ouest Tourangeau, SA Mérignac, Toulouse B and Chamalières.

The championship will resume on Saturday, August 24.
