Having passed through the Cavée training center, then the Ciel et Marine first team, Didier Digard is the new coach of HAC. The former midfielder is committed for the next two seasons.

It’s a return to basics that will delight HAC supporters! Didier Digard is the new coach of Ciel et Marine. A native of Gisors, Eurois studied at the Le Havre training center from the age of 12, before turning professional and playing three seasons in the first team between 2004 and 2007.

He played 82 matches under the Ciel et Marine jersey between Ligue 2, Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue, and scored 4 goals. International hopeful, he was transferred to Paris-Saint-Germain, then played in England (Middlesbrough), in Spain (Betis Seville, Osasuna). He also played in Nice, where he became captain, and organized his reconversion to the position of coach.

Coach of the youth teams, then assistant to Lucien Favre in the flag team, he takes the reins of the professional group during the first 6 months of 2023. The interim period is going very well (12 victories, 8 draws, 5 defeats) but lacking the required diplomas, he was not confirmed in his position, where Francesco Farioli replaced him.

Having just obtained his DEPF (Professional Football Coaching Diploma), he joined the club of his youth and his beginnings in the professional world, and replaced Luka Elsner. The Slovenian, who contributed to the rise of the oldest club in Ligue 1, has left for Reims.
