In Villeneuve-sur-Lot, the 2024 edition of the Corporate Rowing Challenge proved to be a great success, bringing together 13 companies and lining up 17 boats in a friendly and colorful atmosphere. “Although the rowing techniques were not always perfect, the main thing was to participate and share unique sporting moments. »
Among the participating companies, we found Regain Coordination, SAS EDTA Pascual with two teams, Eurovia also with two teams, the Pôle de Santé du Villeneuvois with two teams, BFI with two teams, AFC with two teams, as well as CAGV mixed, CAGV service eco, CAGV Coworking, Banque Populaire, AGUR, and Fontanié/Maison de l’immobilier. Everyone showed exemplary involvement during training and during the races.
Results and rewards
The results crowned PSV Hospital Boat 1, which took first place on the podium. Boat 1 from EDTA Pascual took second place, followed by the mixed team Fontanié/Maison de l’immobilier. Eurovia was rewarded for its 100% female boat, while the prize for best disguise was awarded to the CAGV mixed team.
This event, which opens the summer season of Villeneuvois rowing nautical activities, was unanimously praised and promises to be repeated next year. The participants are already looking forward to taking on new challenges and experiencing more great sporting adventures.
