The Bergerac constituency voted en masse for the National Rally this Sunday, June 30. The outgoing RN deputy Serge Muller comes first with 42.71% of the votes. Far behind him, the New Popular Front candidate Christophe Cathus and the presidential majority candidate Michel Delpon are also qualified for the second round.

The outgoing RN MP achieved the highest score

Serge Muller gathered 42.71% of the votes. At the end of the first round of the legislative elections this Sunday, he therefore arrives far ahead of the candidate of the New Popular Front, the socialist Christophe Cathus (28.27%). The presidential majority candidate Michel Delpon is also qualified (19.58%). The Bergeracois constituency is therefore heading towards a three-way race in the second round.

Serge Muller exceeds 50% of the votes in 37 municipalities of the constituency, especially in Pays Foyen. Even Bergerac places the RN in the lead. “If I got the best score in the four constituencies, it is the fruit of my work, my tenacity, my presence on the ground, the meetings I had”, reacts Serge Muller. He hopes that the RN will achieve good scores again in the second round, “three constituencies, that will already be quite a lot”he said.
