Saint-Pierre. The sixth edition of Festi’Pierre is being prepared

As with previous editions, the Saint-Pierre festival committee, organizer of the Festi’Pierre festival, which will be held on July 6, is playing the local card by inviting regional music groups and offering gourmet specialties.

Eight beers from different craft breweries in the region will be featured as well as a local cider. On the catering side, “Alsatian kebabs” and grills will be offered alongside traditional tartes flambées.

Pop, rock et funk

The evening will take place outdoors, next to the socio-cultural center. Visitors will be able to appreciate the warm and protected side of the new Touareg tent or prefer to get closer to the stage.

From 6 p.m., students from the Barr music school will take the stage. At 8 p.m., the audience will welcome the group FMR, already known by some for having occupied local stages in recent months. After Barr, Saint-Nabor, Benfeld, among others, the group FMR as “ephemeral” which has the particularity of changing the composition of its group with each program, intends to electrify the audience in Saint-Pierre. Saturday, July 6, the audience will discover Raph on vocals, Luc on guitar, Quentin on bass and Gouleck on drums who will perform covers of great pop, rock and funk groups.

At 10 p.m., the 100% Alsatian rock group from Mittelbergheim, Les Assoiffés, will take to the Festi’Pierre stage for the second time.

Around 1,200 people in the best years

They had already set the audience alight in 2018 during the first edition. For this sixth edition, the group of friends will perform acoustically, a faithful reflection of their recent album Without electricity. A great bunch of musician friends, who don’t take themselves seriously but who put all their heart, soul and love of Alsace into their music.

Created in 2018, the Festi’Pierre festival has brought together 1,200 people for the best years. A success that confirms the organizers in their initial approach: highlighting local know-how.

This year, given the workload required for such an event, and given the holding of legislative elections the following day, there will be no meal on Sunday lunchtime.
