Ardennes Mega Trail: Dylan Dame wins with… 28 minutes in advance

In the space of four weeks, Dylan Dame covered nearly 330 kilometers in competition. Including a 7th place on the Tenerife Bluetrail by UTMB survey (110 km) before following up with three successes. All after some good performances this winter as well, such as a 9th place in the 130 km of the Trans Grand Canaria.

In recent days, he has therefore had a series of successes on the Trail Godefroy in Bouillon on June 15 (104 km), on the Alletante in Alle-sur-Semois on June 22 (31 km) and, this weekend, on the Ardennes Mega Trail, in Hautes-Rivières, just on the other side of the border with France (83 km).

But more than this success in a race marked by storms in its last part and which welcomed a little more than 400 runners, it is the lead with which the athlete from Roisin (Honnelles) won that we will remember. Dylan Dame indeed crossed the finish line of this 85 km race for 4200 meters of positive elevation gain after 8h41.02 of effort, at a pace close to 10 km/h on average. Behind, his closest pursuer, the Frenchman Raphaël Bouton, took 9h09.25, or 28 minutes more!

A chasm which bears witness to the state of form of the insatiable athlete of JC Quiévrain.
